Happy Sunday Mighty Hawk Band!
Congratulations go out to all 11 of our Area candidates on representing not only themselves but Birdville High School and Birdville ISD at the highest level. I’m and very proud to announce that both Sophie Connolly an Alexis Palacio placed 1st overall in their auditions and earned a place in the Texas All-State Bands being recognized as a Texas All State Musician! I’d like to also congratulation Mikayla Hayes and Douglas Sisk for placing 2nd in their auditions as well as Lauren Cram for placing 5th all earning 1st alternate spots.
The Schedule for the week is as followed:
Monday – No School / MLK Day
Tuesday – Wind Ensemble / Symphonic Band Sectionals
Wednesday – Wind Ensemble / Symphonic Band Sections
Thursday – Symphonic Band Rehearsal
· 4:30 – 6:30pm
Friday – Wind Ensemble Rehearsal
· 3:00 – 5:00pm
