Congratulations to everyone on two very successful 8th grade marching clinics and a solid week of band placement auditions.
The Band Staff would like to personally thank and congratulate the Senior Class of 2021. It was an extremely tough year, but we couldn’t be more proud of the character and perseverance you’ve shown through these tough times. As you all move into the next chapter of your lives, I hope that you’ll remember the memories you’ve made with the Mighty Hawk Band, and we hope that the legacy you leave behind is one that your proud of and will remember forever.
The schedule for the week is as follows:
Monday – Percussion Auditions / Leadership Meeting
· 3:30 – 4:30pm Percussion Auditions
o Results will be posted later Monday Evening
· 3:00 – 3:45pm Leadership Meeting for the following:
o Hawk Ambassadors and Band Managers
Tuesday – Leadership Meeting / May Camp Day #1
· 4:40 – 5:00pm Leadership Meeting / Jazz Hall
· 5:00 – 8:00pm May Camp Day #1 (outside marching)
o We will start in the Band Hall to pick up school owned instruments
Wednesday – ½ Day of School / May Camp Day #2
· 2:00 – 5:00pm May Camp Day #2 (inside playing)
