Happy Sunday Mighty Hawk Band!
Congratulations to everyone on an incredible end to the competition season with the best performance of the year at the UIL State Marching Band Competition. I am very proud to say that out of 254 5A marching bands in the state of Texas, the Mighty Hawk Band finished the season ranked 15th. That’s the top 5% in the state! A great end to a great season for sure.
We’re looking forward to starting concert band this week preparing for the Winter Concert as well as the TMEA All Region Band Auditions, our first playoff game vs. Eagle Mountain Saginaw this Thursday, and the Percussion PASIC performance this Tuesday at BHS and this Friday in Indianapolis Indiana!
The schedule for the week is as follows:
Monday – Wind Ensemble Rehearsal / Percussion PASIC Rehearsal / Winter Guard Clinic
· 3:00 – 5:00pm Wind Ensemble Rehearsal in the Band Hall
· 3:30 – 6:30pm PASIC Rehearsal
· 7:00pm – PASIC Meeting
· 3:30 – 6:30pm Winter Guard Clinic
Tuesday – Symphonic Band Rehearsal / PASIC Preview Concert
