Schedule for Homecoming week: 

Monday – Homecoming Parade / Outdoor Pep Rally

  • Please Stay Tuned and please be flexible…it looks like it’s going to be bad weather and really cold (in the low 40’s)…we will keep you update on any changes / cancellations as soon as we hear something

  • 3:30 – 4:45pm – Football Band Rehearsal (if the parade / pep rally is cancelled due to bad weather, we will have rehearsal inside until 5:00pm)

  • 4:45 – Change into Uniform (Cold Weather Dress will be jeans, Birdville Band Hoodie, members jacket or letterman jacket, and game day ball cap)

  • 5:00 – Depart FAAC (Wind Players) / Tennis Courts Parade (Drumline)

  • 6:30 – Outdoor Pep Rally Begins

  • 7:00 – Outdoor Pep Rally Ends / Group Dismiss / Go Home

Tuesday – All Region Sectionals / Percussion All Region

3:15 – 4:15pm - Group 1

  • Flute – Chang

  • Clarinets – Cheripka

  • Tenor Trombones – Stover

4:15pm – 5:15pm Group 2

  • Oboe – Chang

  • Trumpets – Cheripka

  • Bass Trombones – Stover

Wednesday – All Region Sectionals /\ Percussion All Region

3:15 –\ 4:15pm - Group 1

  • Bassoon –\ Chang

  • All\ Saxophones – Cheripka

  • Euphoniums\ – Stover


4:15pm –\ 5:15pm Group 2

  • Low\ Clarinet – Chang

  • French Horn\ – Cheripka

  • Tuba –\ Stover


3:30 – 5:00pm\ – Percussion All-Region Sectionals


Thursday– Football Band Rehearsal

  • 3:30 – 5:00

Friday – BHS vs. Burleson Centennial (Home Football Game @ FAAC)

  • 2:50pm – School Day Ends / Go Home / Eat Dinner / Get Dressed

  • 5:30pm - Band Hall Opens

  • Come Fully Dressed - Comfortable Weather will be your 2020 Band Members Shirt, Green Members Shorts, Black Game Day ball cap, and Mighty Hawk Band Face Mask.

  • Cold Weather Dress will be jeans, Birdville Band Hoodie, members jacket or letterman jacket, and game day ball cap.

  • Gather all of your items for the game (flip folder, lyre, water jug)

  • 5:50pm - Meet in Sections in the Cafeteria for Inspection

  • 6:00pm - Inspection

  • 6:10pm – Depart for the FAAC

  • 6:20pm – Up in the Stands

  • 7:00pm – Game Time

  • No Pre Game or Half Time Performance / Just playing in the stands

  • 10:00pm-ish – Game Ends / Head to Band Hall for Group Dismissal

  • 10:15pm-ish – Parent Pick Up / Band Hall Closes
