SUNDAY E-NEWS (Sept. 27-Oct 2)

Happy Sunday Mighty Hawk Band!

Congratulations go out to everyone on a super successful 1st contest performance of the season at the US Bands Southwestern Regional at Saginaw High School this past Saturday. The band had a solid run in the preliminary competition winning 1st place in class 4A and took home the “Outstanding Music Performance”, “Outstanding Visual Performance” as well as the “Outstanding Percussion” awards with and overall score of 77.3. We advanced on to the finals round of competition (competing against all classifications) and ended up having our best performance of the season finishing the night in 3rd place and advancing our score to and 80.00. I could not have been more proud of everyone. From the marching members, to the stage crew, to the parents chaperones and logistics crew, the Band Staff, everyone was nothing short of just awesome. Nice work guys!
